Dunwoody Real Estate

Dunwoody consists of several neighborhoods and distinct districts.

Dunwoody Village is the location of the Dunwoody Village Shopping Center and is the historic heart of the community.

Perimeter Center formed around the Perimeter Mall and is one of the largest job centers in Metro Atlanta. Together with the Perimeter Community Improvement District, Perimeter Center is a district of shopping and office buildings. With buildings as tall as 34 stories, this is an impressive district with a very good public transportation system.

Georgetown is one of the best walkable areas of Dunwoody and includes attractive residential subdivisions and a retail district.

Winters Chapel, named after the Winters Chapel Methodist Church, is a prime location for light commercial and retail redevelopment. Two beautiful parks in this area are popular among walkers, joggers, and children.

Tilly Mill is home to the Dunwoody campus of George Perimeter College, the Marcus Jewish Community Center, and Dunwoody's signature park, Brook Run. Brook Run offers numerous trails, play areas, a dog park, a Veterans Memorial, and a community garden.

Dunwoody Community & Attractions

At the Dunwoody Nature Center, volunteers work at conserving and enhancing Dunwoody Park and educating the public about environmental concerns and responsible action. The center offers many programs and classes for people of all ages, summer concerts, and native plant sales.

Stage Door Players offers a full season of professional theatre, a cabaret series, and productions for children. Their works and presentations are both compelling and entertaining.

Canvas by U is a fun, adult art class in which paintings are completed in one class. Other Dunwoody attractions include: Perimeter Center East Park, Vernon Oaks Park, Windwook Hollow Park, Donald-Bannister Farm, and the North DeKalb Cultural Arts Center.
